Emergency Medical officer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Officer to join a leading hospital network in Papua New Guinea. This role involves delivering acute medical care in high-pressure emergency environments and collaborating across departments for optimal patient outcomes.

Key Requirements:

• MBBS/MD or equivalent

• Active license + ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications

• 25 years' experience in emergency or acute care

• Proficient in emergency procedures and critical care management

Core Responsibilities:

• Rapid assessment and stabilization of emergency patients

• Perform interventions: intubations, wound care, fracture management

• Monitor patients and coordinate follow-up care or transfers

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in continuous quality and safety improvements
