Our client is seeking an experienced PSS & DCS Manager to lead the effective operation, support and continuous improvement of its Passenger Service System (PSS) and Departure Control System (DCS).

The role will manage the PSS/DCS Helpdesk and Training teams and take responsibility for system performance, user support, process and policy standards, training, system access and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation and availability of the airline's PSS and DCS.
• Oversee reservations, inventory, fares, check-in and departure control functionality.
• Lead the PSS/DCS Helpdesk and Training functions.
• Manage system upgrades, testing, incidents and improvements.
• Develop and maintain PSS/DCS processes, policies and operating procedures.
• Ensure users are appropriately trained and system access is properly controlled.
• Manage PSS/DCS vendors, service levels and issue escalation.
• Work closely with Commercial, Airport Operations, Call Centre and IT teams.
• Lead and develop the PSS & DCS team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience working with airline PSS and/or DCS systems.
• Previous team leadership experience, including Helpdesk or Training functions.
• Strong understanding of airline reservations, ticketing, fares and departure control.
• Knowledge of IATA standards.
• Experience developing processes, policies or operational documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in IT, Business, Aviation Management or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience within an airline Commercial, Airport Operations or IT environment, systems training and vendor management will be advantageous.
